Has anyone purchased an Eclipse International Mattress?
Our experience also. Tempur pedic was great at first. At about the 5 year mark, we noticed bulging at the sides (we are not large people). At the six year mark, the depressions were bad and we were getting back pains. At 7 years, we junked it for a latex.
Mattress looked fine when no one was on it. Translation. Forget about the warranty.
just wondering if you could tell me the brand or name of your waterbed mattress.
We used to have one till it sprung a leak, got a new one and it wasn't as comfortable, tried the pillow top thing, tried the lower end memory foam thing, non of which was as good as our old waveless.
Heres wishing we had our old waterbed back, but maybe a new could be just as good.
First, your opening comment cracked me up!
Second, good point about the viability of waterbeds as an option.
Third, questions: 1. Do you have kids and/or dogs? We have varieties of both and I have concerns about punctures from rambunctious (and sometimes unpredictable) critters.
2. Sheets? Don't waterbeds require special linens?
We have a cal king waterbed since 96 and love it. Its has a heater pad under it which is adjustable. We also have cats and a dog who constantly jump on the bed. The animals seem to know not to use their claws. But we are careful to keep them off of it when changing the sheets. Waterbeds do require waterbed sheets. They can be found online.
