NOTICE TO ALL CONSUMERS WHO ARE CONSIDERING TO BUY A SAMSUNG DLP TV- DON'T DO IT!!!!
Samsung has an epidemic on their hand's that they are unwilling to admit to. Case in point, I spent almost $2,000.00 on a 61" Samsung DLP TV (Model HLT6156WX/XAA) 2 years ago. As recent as a few months ago, tiny white dots began appearing on the screen, they continue to grow and now... i have hundreds of white dots on the screen that will never go away. The problem is with the DLP chip, Samsung is aware of this problem and has agreed to fix specific models, but if you have a newer model, forget it, Samsung will tell you that their engineering department has not determined that the problem is with the newer models. I have called them multiple times, filled out a better business bureau complaint, and they still will not admit that the DLP chip is faulty on other units as well. The only reason why im posting this issue, is to inform other consumers to not buy Samsung TV's... do not fall in the same trap that i did. If you do not believe me, google Samsung dlp tv white dot problem.... you will soon realize that its an epidemic, ...it affects lots of different models... DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS!!! you have been warned! If you have a "white dot" problem, please post your problem here... so that others can see how big of a problem it is...
I also had many white dots on my Samsung DLP TV

I called Samsung Technical Support and Customer Support twice and received the same answer: Your model is not covered.
Please let me know if I can get help from anywhere to have my TV repaired.
I need to report the quality issue with Samsung DLP TV, model no HL-T6756W. There is a know white dot issue with this model due to DLP chip.
Although there is recall on this specific chip, Samsung refuses to honor my request to repair the TV free of charge,
They claim that my specific DLP is not in the range of the recall. I asked them to see their failure analysis, but they refuse to do so.

I purchased a Samsung HL67A750A TV less than 3 years ago...... It just stared developing the white dots. I just called Samsung and they said they have had no problem with these TV's.
I only had the TV for less than 30 days and we had problems.... it started to turn off without notice..... finally they sent someone to change a large circut board which solved the problem.
I did purchase an extended warantee ($189) but it was only for one year...... I thought it was for 3 years.
Now I am waiting for the Samsung technician to call me and tell me how much it is going to cost to repair........ any idea of the cost?
